ELSA:Elsa is a sweet senior cat with a purr that sounds like a tiny motor. After 10 years in the only home she’d ever known, Elsa is back at ARF and ready for her next chapter. It’s a big change for a cat who has spent a decade knowing exactly where she belonged, but Elsa hasn’t let it dim her sunny personality one bit. This beautiful senior is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than being petted, rubbed, and curled up in a cozy lap. In fact, taking her photo was nearly impossible because she was far too busy leaning into every hand, leg, and iPhone that came within reach! Don’t let her senior status fool you. Elsa has plenty of tortie personality, a whole lot of love, and purrs to spare. All she needs is a cozy bed, loving humans, and a forever home where she can shower her family with affection.
BILLY: This handsome two-year-old Bull Terrier came to ARF all the way from California, and he sure knows how to keep things interesting! 
Billy has a hilarious personality, a goofy way about him, and a knack for making everyone around him smile. Billy is also deaf, but that certainly doesn’t stop him from having fun! Because he cannot hear verbal cues, training and communication with Billy will be a little different, relying on visual signals, hand gestures, and consistency to help him understand what is being asked of him. He’s a silly, entertaining guy who marches to the beat of his own drum and is sure to keep his future family laughing. If you’re looking for a dog with plenty of character and are ready to help him learn in his own unique way, Billy is your guy!
ARF Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk
Saturday, October 10, 9 AM to 12 PM at Mulford Farm, East Hampton
Get ready for wagging tails, sandy paws, and plenty of community spirit, because the
33rd Annual Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk is back! On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF Hamptons) will once again bring hundreds of dogs and their people together for a joyful morning in East Hampton. This year promises to be the biggest and most exciting Dog Walk yet, with more time to shop local vendors, expanded photo opportunities at Mulford Farm and Main Beach, and a fundraising competition with exclusive custom merchandise.
The morning kicks off with none other than designer and entertainer Isaac Mizrahi, who will bring his signature wit and warmth to the pre-walk festivities and awards presentation at Mulford Farm before the stroll to Main Beach begins.
“There really is nothing like seeing hundreds of dogs and their people take over East Hampton for ARF,” said
Kim Nichols, Executive Director and CEO of ARF Hamptons. “Isaac always makes it more fun, Dylan’s Candy BarN brings the treats, our vendors and sponsors bring incredible energy, and our walkers and fundraisers bring the heart. Come for the dogs, the beach, the contests and the chaos, but know that every dollar raised helps us rescue another animal and give them everything they need to find a home. That’s what makes this day so much fun AND so important.”
The 2026 schedule of events at Mulford Farm includes dog contests, vendor shopping, food, music, and activities for the whole family. This year will feature new contests. Walkers and their pups will be able to preregister to compete in fun contests to win prizes for Best Ears, Best Dressed Duo, and Best Bark from a Human. Plus, participants who raise the most funds will be celebrated with prizes and recognition for their lifesaving efforts.
All registrants receive an event t-shirt with original artwork by Isaac Mizrahi, a tote bag, refreshments, and access to vendor booths and activities. Special rewards will be given to those who reach fundraising milestones.
