On Veterans Day, November 11, The Southampton Inn, located at 91 Hill Street, in Southampton, will hold a special ceremony honoring local veterans at their front entrance by the flagpole, at 6pm, with speeches and honorarium by local dignitaries. Followed by a dinner and cabaret show, “A Musical Tribute to our Vets,” by New York City Broadway and Opera singer Cristina Fontanelli, who has performed at Carnegie Hall and international stages, as well as top NYC clubs as Feinstein’s and 54 Below. In September, she packed the Southampton Basilica with her Opera/Broadway performance, “Cristina Fontanelli and Friends.” For Veterans Weekend she will sing Patriotic favorites and a timeline of Wartime hits through the years.
Thursday, November 11: Discount Dinner (6 pm) and a Cabaret Show, “A Musical Tribute to Our Vets,” (8pm-9pm), is $50 for (verified) veterans, and $100 for family and friends. Friday, November 12: A repeat Dinner and Cabaret Show for $100 a person. To reserve dinner and a show call Claude’s Restaurant at 631-283-1166.
Discounted double occupancy rooms at the Southampton Inn for veterans are $100 plus taxes and fees. Children under 12 are no charge. Additional people over 12 are $49 per person.
