We are governed by common sense and light
foundation built of free will as we may;

Every year we take a ride
With cameras and cell phones by our side
Out to Long Island’s east end
On good weather we depend
Our destination is Montauk
On sandy dunes we plan to walk
To relive family memories
And cement our histories
Gosman’s Dock is our first stop
We rush into each store to shop
Then onto the gazebo
For photos and a video
The final stop is Gosman’s sign
To climb pillars without a whine
To reach the top and smile and wave
And make new memories to save
Folks nearby may choose to stare
As they watch us laugh and cheer
When they hear us all declare
We’ll be back the following year
Back at Gosman’s we are blessed
To perform the annual quest
With years to go before we rest
