Faith Mullaly’s Teeny Award

Faith Mullaly, a Montauk School Alumni, won the Mary Ann Martorano Lead Role in a Musical Award for her performance in the role of the Witch in “Into the Woods”. The award was presented at East Hampton High School during the Teeny Awards which were held on June 14th at the West Hampton Beach High School. Mary Ann Martorano was a music educator involving her students in numerous musical experiences. Mary Ann along with her husband Joseph, was an enthusiastic founding committee member of the East End Arts Teeny Awards.

In addition to winning the award, Faith was a member of the Teeny Awards Student Council and participated in the award nigh opening film “Teeny’s Boulevard”. She also performed a play on the Witch’s Rap piece from Into the Woods that was written about the Teeny’s.

The Teeny Awards is an East End Arts program (inspired by the Tony Awards) which began in 2002 and is on a continued mission to elevate high school theater to acclaim equal to that of high school athletics in Eastern Suffolk County. Over twenty local high schools, 2000 teenagers, and fifty judges participate year-round, including many Teeny alumni, some of which have doubled down later in life to win Tony Awards. Theater incorporates all aspects of the arts and is a powerful driver of personal growth and community.

Faith Mullaly

Faith Mullaly is a 15-year-old freshman at East Hampton High School and a proud resident of Montauk. From a young age, she has cultivated a deep passion for theatre and vocal performance, quickly becoming a vibrant and versatile presence on stage. Faith has appeared in multiple SFPA theatre productions, taking on the roles such as Mr. Wormwood in Matilda Jr., Sheldon Sapperstein in The Prom!, and the dual roles of the Mad Hatter and Harold Pudding in Alice By Heart. Her additional musical theatre credits include standout performances as Ursula in The Little Mermaid Jr., the Purple Kangaroo in Seussical Jr., King Louie in The Jungle Book Jr., Mrs. Darbus in High School Musical Jr., and the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz. An accomplished vocalist, Faith has earned a perfect score of 100% at NYSSMA the last two years and has been selected for both SCMEA and HMEA honor choirs. She performs regularly across the East End, with appearances at the Sag Harbor American Music Festival, Montauk Music Festival 2025 & 2026, Stephen Talkhouse, and Bay Street Theater. She is also a featured performer at TAUK restaurant, where she collaborates with fellow local musicians.

Faith is an active member of the Hampton Choral Society and serves as a regular cantor at St. Therese of Lisieux Church in Montauk. Beyond the stage, she is deeply committed to her community, frequently volunteering her voice for school and local events.

Most recently, Faith appeared as the Witch in the East Hampton High School production of Into the Woods She was honored to perform and accept the award for Lead Role in a Musical at the 2026 Teeny Ceremony. Faith’s future dream is to perform in musical theater on Broadway and to continue sharing her passions with the community.
