Happy Birthday Rose Rutkowski

First of all, this reporter wants to wish everyone a very Happy and a Healthy New Year! Second, I would like to wish my neighbor, Rose Rutkowski, who is the only January birthday gal, a very Happy Birthday! The last time I saw Rose was when she walked to town to pick up her daily paper at Martell’s. Rose is an avid walker and Montauk with its beautiful surroundings, is the perfect place to stay in shape.

The Center is still closed for now. The friendly drivers are still delivering scrumptious meals every week to the seniors who need them. Thanks to East Hampton Senior Nutrition Center, Montauk’s young at heart are well fed and are very grateful to all the staff and first responders who risks their lives every day, for them.

One bit of good news is that as of January 6, East Hampton Town Hall has offered a Drive-through testing for the COVID-19 PCR (RNA) nasal swab tests and rapid antigen tests for active viral infection diagnosis, and antibody blood tests to determine if someone has had a previous case of the virus.
