At The Senior Nutrition Center with Patria Baradi Pacis

Happy Birthday Viola Angelidis

A JUNE BIRTHDAY

Patria Baradi Pacis

What a wonderful Montauk summer it has been for locals and tourists so far. Although the flowers could use more rain, the weather has been great for beach goers and for those who enjoy walking around town, checking out newly, opened restaurants and shops or for those who come to fish, bike or hike. Most of the activities pre-COVID, such as the concerts at Gosman’s on Sundays, or on the Green on Mondays and events at the beautifully, renovated Library, are back.

After being cooped up indoors for two years, everyone is making up for lost time and enjoying life as much as they can. The Fourth of July fireworks, on Umbrella beach, were awesome. Even the birds are chirping louder every morning. There are more deer hanging around my lawn and the stars and moon seem brighter.

Viola Angelidis is our June birthday celebrant. Although she was not present to eat the delicious, strawberry cake that Executive Director Therese Jarmain ordered, her peers did. Soon, Viola will be back from Florida to spend the rest of the summer in Montauk. Happy Birthday Viola.
