ARF Animals of the Month

Winter 2020 Animals of the Month

MISTY: Eight-year-old Misty is a sweet and playful girl who is social with other cats. She came to ARF from a City shelter, and she definitely prefers the quiet life. Her shyness with people has meant she has been overlooked by adopters, and we’d like to change that! If you are considering an adult cat, please visit us and ask to meet Misty. We’re sure that you will fall in love.

BRIMLEY: Brimley is a seven-year-old Chihuahua mix, who came to ARF from our rescue partner in South Carolina. Homeless and in need of medical care, ARF was Brimley’s last hope. He is very friendly with people, though shy with kids. He has also let us know that he would prefer to be the only dog in your home. Like over 30 million Americans, Brimley has diabetes. He requires injections twice each day, but he has received excellent care at ARF. If you or a loved one has diabetes, then you know his condition is manageable. Can you give him the life he’s been dreaming of outside of the shelter? (Photo by Will Yennie)
