ARF Animals of the Month and Pet Food Pantry

Animals of the Month

Lillian: Did you know orange tabby cats are typically male? This beautiful one-year-old girl is a bit of a rarity. Lillian is also FIV+. Lillian doesn’t require any special medications or treatments for FIV, and it is not contagious to humans. She should live a very full, happy, normal life. Lillian can be timid at first, but she loves a good head rub, and you’ll know when you have found the perfect spot when she digs in and twirls around her bed purring.

Thor: Thor is a handsome 3-year-old Rottweiler recently rescued from Georgia. He is a well-mannered, sweet dog who is house-trained, and he also walks beautifully on leash. “Fantastic” and “amazing” are just a couple of the words ARF staff used to describe this gentle giant, who also gets along well with other dogs and loves himself a good belly rub! If you are a fan of the breed, Thor will not disappoint. This big boy has a big heart, and he is hoping to fill your life up with love.
