Celebrating a special birthday, we were thrilled to have a delicious meal at the all-new Ocean Club. The elegant woodwork in the dining room paired with the nautical view through the sprawling windows provides a breathtaking ambiance. The bar is roomy and lively, with its own marina vista, creative cocktails, Happy Hour offerings, and weekly live music that is always enjoyable.
Although they were only open for a week, the staff were obviously well-trained offering smiles, greetings, and a clear understanding of the menu, which brings me to the outstanding menu. During April, there is a weekly prix fix created by Chef Jarad; starting with a special Chef amuse-bouche to whet the appetite, followed by choices of starters, mains, and desserts. There is an option to skip dessert however, after our savory treats, I would highly recommend saving room for whichever decadent delights are offered.
Since there were four of us dining we were able to sample each item including the tuna tartare and beef cheek appetizers, as well as the three mains; mushroom pepper pappardelle, béarnaise salmon, and the tender short rib. Full of clean, fresh, mouthwatering flavor, each dish tasted as wonderful as it looked.
