At The Senior Nutrition Center with Patria Baradi Pacis

A January Birthday!

Patria Baradi Pacis

January was a quiet month for the Montauk seniors at the Nutrition Center. Many were still down South and won’t be back until spring just in time for the St. Patrick’s Parade.

Those who remained in Montauk are enjoying the delicious, gourmet-like cooking that our Chef Don prepares every day during the week. Dishes such as Pork Chops, Baked Fried Chicken, or Spinach Quiche are to die for, and is served with bread, fresh salad and green. Eating desert is always a fun. Sometimes it’s sweet pineapple chunks, apple pie or freshly baked vanilla cookies. At the end of each month, a special birthday cake is ordered to celebrate the young at heart’s natal day.

This month’s birthday honoree is Rita Vlasaty, who is still in Florida enjoying the sunshine. Happy Birthday Rita. May you have many more. We are looking forward to your return.
