Animals of the Month
Kai: Kai is a stunning ten-year-old white Persian who came to ARF after her family could no longer care for her. As sweet as she is fluffy, she’s like a little cloud come to life. Kai loves the finer things—cozy naps, gentle pets, and looking effortlessly glamorous every single day. She is currently on a special diet, but that doesn’t stop her from being the perfect mix of elegance and affection. If you’re searching for a calm, loving companion who also happens to double as beautiful home décor, Kai is your girl.
Leelah: Leelah is a sweet and soulful three-year-old pup from Georgia who’s ready to find her forever home! With her striking blue eyes, Leelah has outgrown the puppy stage but still brings plenty of playful energy and affection. She loves adventure and would be a wonderful companion for someone eager to explore the world by her side. Leelah is a very loving girl who already knows her basic commands. As a retriever, she does have a prey drive, so she’ll thrive with continued training and consistency in a patient, caring home. Rescued with the support of The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare, Leelah is now ready to begin her next chapter—with you!
