Animals of the Month
GRAYSON is a charming ten-month-old tuxedo kitty who came to ARF this summer through our Operation Cat program. He bonds quickly with people and has effortlessly made friends with other felines in the kitten room. Grayson is the ideal mix of playful and independent, making him a wonderful companion for just about anyone! Now, he’s just waiting for the loving home he deserves.
KIRA is a stunning three-year-old Border Collie who came to ARF after her family could no longer care for her. She is the epitome of her breed—intelligent, loyal, energetic, and protective—making her best suited for a family familiar with Border Collies. Kira knows her commands, has perfected her game of fetch, and is always up for an adventure! While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she may need a little extra time to warm up to new canine friends. With people, Kira plays hard to get at first – strangers can be intimidating to her, and she needs time to build trust. After a few visits, she will bond and reveal her goofy, affectionate side with you! Because of her social challenges, Kira is featured as one of ARF’s “Diamond in the Ruff,” just waiting for the right person to see the gem she truly is!

Learn about ARF’s programs and services while enjoying other attractions and local business vendors, along with food, food trucks, music, pet adoptions, the dog agility course, free microchipping, low-cost vaccines and much more!
