Remember September

Remember September

Remember September is a genre-bending rock band that was formed in 2006 and has been a common name around Montauk ever since. You may remember them from Nick’s, the Montauk Music Festival, Montauket, and recently Salivars. The group features the three Schod brothers, Jay, Chris and Eric, long-time drummer, Gerard Awad, Kevin Duffy on horns, and Sam “Uncle Sam” Rivera on percussions.

RememberTheir newest release “Full Circle” has just been released and is tremendous. Full Circle” is their third studio project. It was produced at LakeWest Studios in Rhode Island under the guidance of multi-Grammy nominee Jack Gauthier (Dispatch, Duke Robillard). It is an 11 track production that includes their reggae/rock version of Florida-Georgia Line’s “Cruise” and a new interpretation of the band’s first radio single, “On My Own.”

The title “Full Circle” reflects the band’s desire to continually evolve both musically and lyrically. From full horn sections on some tracks to Latin percussions, listeners will hear our influences of everything from O.A.R. to Zack Brown Band to Dave Matthews entwined in these tracks. Listening to the songs unfold I could hear the familiar Remember September sounds as well as a more developed deeper intense vocals and instrumentals. Check it out!
