Rest in Peace Robert “Bob” Weaver

Robert “Bob” Weaver, 81, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and limitless generosity. A man who never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face, Bob made everyone feel like family—whether you’d known him for five minutes or five decades.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Bob’s favorite days were spent in the stillness of a Montana November morning or out on the water off Montauk aboard his boat the We Go. He had a deep respect for the wild and a deep joy in sharing those spaces with the people he loved.

Bob was never without a Bacardi and coke in hand when the day’s work—or play—was done. His stories were as strong as his drinks, and his presence lit up every room he entered.

Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife, Karen Weaver, whose memory he carried with him in every sunset and cast line. He is survived by his three children: Robin Siczek, Sean Weaver, and Kearnan Weaver; and his seven grandchildren: Keppie Crotty, Patrick Siczek, Arlie Hipp-Weaver, Kevin Siczek, McRae Tomlinson, Keelan Hipp-Weaver, and Evan Tomlinson. He is also lovingly remembered by his three stepchildren—Eddie Walters, Lorraine Scola, and Joanie Thomas and their children.

Bob’s life was a master class in adventure and living life to its fullest. His family invites friends to honor his memory not with mourning, but with a smile, a story, and maybe a toast to a life well lived. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
