The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) honored Ellen and Chuck Scarborough on 16 August at the William P. Rayner Training Center in East Hampton, New York.  The Scarborough’s were Presented with the Champion of Animals Award, applauding over twenty-five years of support for animals in need and helping ARF’s mission to save lives.

For over 50 years ARF has been working to rescue cats and dogs, finding them loving homes and providing critical care in the process.  The newly renovated 22-acre campus allowed for over 400 guests to learn more about ARF’s challenges and accomplishments, while showcasing animals up for adoption.  Guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner, catered by Oliver Cheng and music by DJ Othello. ARF aims to increase awareness and education of their work, while raising much needed funds to continue medical services.  All proceeds from the event benefit ARF Hamptons.

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF Hamptons) was founded in 1974.  ARF Hamptons is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization providing care and sanctuary for homeless cats and dogs until loving homes can be found. ARF is a leading animal rescue and adoption center on Long Island. In addition to its rescue and adoption program, ARF operates a pet food pantry, free spay/neuter clinics for feral cats, and year-round dog training and socialization classes.
