Indy Home Montauk

Beverly Bartfeld

Designer Beverly Bartfeld has opened a home fashion space in Montauk.  Fresh, light, and carefully arranged with a relaxed livable vibe, her store offers a variety of taste and style. Ms. Bartfeld had a successful opening last season, though with everything closing down she, like everyone else, was unable to open early this season. However, her online business continued and since the re-opening Indy Home has had an even better reception from the Montauk public.

Beverly lives with her family in both NYC and Montauk. For her store, she curates items to design comfortable seaside living spaces. In addition, some of her own designs are on display, including pillows, rugs, and tabletop items.

Ms. Bartfeld has extensive experience in the field of design. She attended Fiorella Laguardia High School in NYC for art, then went to the University of Michigan School of Art where she studied fine arts and graphic design, followed by studying interior design at Parsons.  After Parsons she worked for several well-known designers and then went out on her own for about 15 years.

Over the years, Beverly has designed living spaces, and will assist with home design ideas, but currently her focus is more on the store. Keeping it new, fresh, and changing the look as often as possible.  Even including some pieces from local artists and photographers.

If you’re thinking of remodeling, freshening up a space or just need a little something chic and affordable to add to a room, head to town and visit Indy Home…located between Main Street and the ocean, at 71 S. Elmwood Avenue. Call 631-668-8415, or visit their website: https://indyhomedesign.com/ .
