First Peace Pole on Long Island Planted at Montauk Public School!

Jack Perna

Peace Poles are an iconic symbol of “May Peace Prevail On Earth International”, founded in Japan over fifty years ago. This is a grassroots movement committed to the awakening of consciousness by planting the message of peace in the hearts and minds of our global family.

For more information on how to plant a Peace Pole at your school feel free to call Phyllis Lomitola at (631) 875-0409! It is her mission to get a peace pole planted in our schools on Long Island. Here is the link and story of how it started!  http://www.peacepoleproject.org

“We must start with the children. This is a message of hope and love and acceptance – our country is hurting and only we can fix it! One peace pole at a time! Here is the first one planted in our beautiful Montauk! Thank you, Jack Perna and the entire Montauk School board!“ Phyllis says. https://youtu.be/8EOshMYbFWs
