Hot Tips for Healthy Summer Skin
by Pamela Taylor

Tips for achieving healthy summer skin:

- Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily.
- Eat “juicy” fruits, such as watermelon and cucumbers. Their high water content will help to hydrate your skin, keeping you looking radiant all day long.
- Enjoy vitamin-rich fruits and vegetables, such as cantaloupe and carrots. They contain anti-oxidants, which can help restore your skin’s elasticity.
- Grapes and berries are a summer essential! They are rich in Reservatol, which helps to protect your skin from the sun’s damaging rays.
- Sunscreen is a must! Opt for a natural-based sunscreen with the correct SPF to help keep your skin protected, while still allowing you to have a healthy summer glow.

How to select the best sunscreen:

Fair skin is delicate! Apply sunscreen with an SPF between 25 and 40 to help keep you protected from the sun’s harmful rays. Medium skin requires a slightly lower SPF than fair skin to keep your skin healthy and glowing.  Dark skin needs an SPF of at least 15. It will help to protect your naturally deep skin tone from getting damaged.
