| What a great evening to rock. The audience gathered on the lawn with lawn chairs and blankets. It looked like a small town picnic with food, drinks and Ice Cream from the famous gosmans clam bar. Kids dancing up by the stage and by the gazebo with the most amazing music. John Gosman is a Jazz lover but also has a soft spot for the Nancy Atlas Band. So do I, you can often catch me listening to Tequila Shelia or Lost Highway cruising down Rt. 27.

A special treat of the concert was having a friend of Nancy’s up from Lauderdale, jam with her band, Randi Fishenfeld with her electric violin, This N.Y. born and raised classically trained violinist, turned "bombshell electric violinist" has toured with Clarence Clemons and has played and/or recorded with Bruce Springsteen, BB King, Nestor Torres, Gerry Brown, Air Supply, Journey, Kansas, America, Dave Valentine and Divine. Randi’s band is called BLUE FIRE and in the past has been opening act for many nationally recognized acts including: America, Blood Sweat and Tears, Three Dog Night and The Rascals. The BLUE FIRE Band currently performs at a local night spot in Fort Lauderdale, Florida called O’Hara’s on Las Olas Blvd.

The band jammed on Otis Reddings 1968 hit, (Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay and Charlie Daniels "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" to name a few along with some of Nancy’s incredible originals. At the end of the free concert the sun was setting on Montauk and it looked like the sky was on fire! Can’t wait for Nancy’s next concert on August 12th 6:00 to 8:00 and on August 26th the NATIVE SOUL one of New Yorks finest young Jazz band will take the stage.
See Ya There
