“Woodstock Forever”
A New Movie Created by Good News Broadcast

Woodstock Forever, a new movie created by Good News Broadcast (GNB), has started broadcasting to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival at www.goodnewsbroadcast.com. The opening of the movie, which consists of the first minutes of Hipstory, created by the most wonderful founders of the Woodstock Museum, in Saugerties, New York www.woodstockmuseum.org can be seen on www.goodnewsbroadcast.com.

20 years ago, Good News created an event to celebrate Woodstock’s 20th Anniversary. Paul Sladkus, the founder of Good News, along with Richie Havens and many others, worked very hard to create a mega event in Central Park, NYC to be broadcast on PBS. At that time, Woodstock wasn’t accepted by corporate America and sponsors were impossible to find for the free event. However, events were held in Woodstock, the United Nations and Times Square in NYC. Good News will be sharing the never-before-seen footage of these events.

The movie will be appearing on www.goodnewsbroadcast.com and other web outlets within the next few weeks. A theatrical release is currently being considered. The film will include Michael Lang, Sid Bernstein, Vigil, for Peace,  Universal Peace Day with Peter Yarrow,  International Peace Walk, Peace Parrots, Peace Prayer Society, Pete Seeger, Les Paul, Roland Musa, Peter Max, Mary Poppins, Rainbow Man,  Ron Howard, Joe Franklin, 1966 Pontiac Le Mans, Grandpa and Grandma Woodstock, Max Yasgurs Farm, Catskills Charm, Bethel Woods, Hectors Inn, Jimmy Hendrix drummers Zuma Sultan (performing 20 years ago) and Gerardo Velez (performing at a special event in Bethel this year called Woodstock 40 Experience). Past Woodstock reunions will also be included as well as content from the recent movie, Taking Woodstock.  The soul of Woodstock will be heard from the elders and Native Americans speaking about their Rainbow Drumming Circles that preceded this historic event. GNB believes that ”all we are is what we are for each other”.
