The 3rd Annual Rock the Farm Event to Benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and Solider Ride took place on July 25th, 2009 in East Hampton.  It was a smashing success! 

The All-American Barbecue by Fairway along with decadent Red Velvet and Salted Chocolate Carmel Cupcakes from Montauk’s 668 The Gig Shack Restaurant kept the crowd fed as they enjoyed the music of Nancy Atlas, Booga Sugar and the special guest performance by Dan Ackroyd.

Nick Kraus of Amagansett’s Stephen Talkhouse was a delightful host for such a great cause.  The Wounded Warrior Project’s mission is to honor and empower severely injured service men and women by raising awareness and enlisting the public’s aid. Soldiers and their families benefit from sponsorships, pledges and donations.
